Senior year of high school is a special year where kids are enjoying the last year of high school with lifelong friends and anticipating either going away to college next year, starting a full time job in the “real world” or maybe even taking a gap year abroad. Whichever is the case, professional senior high school photos are such an important keepsake to have for both parents and students. It’s definitely something you shouldn’t go without and possibly regret later. If you’d like to schedule a Denver senior photo shoot with me, just fill out my contact form to set up a fun senior photo session. You can choose several locations, be it urban or outdoors, and do several outfit changes.

She is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable

“I can’t even explain how much fun I had during my senior shoot! She is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable and makes sure your personality is shining so bright through the camera!! Just being able to work with someone who is so flexible and is willing to make sure the pictures are just how you want is a dream. I honestly got so many compliments on how my pictures came out and how unique they were! 10/10 recommend and I can’t wait to hopefully work with her again in the future!”

Senior Portrait Photo Pricing

The session fee is $199 for the session alone. Most people opt for a package, though, and these range from $599-1699. The session fee is included in the package price. Packages are a much better value and were created to cater to what most people like to order.

Packages include some or all of the following: various sized prints, mounted wall prints, canvas, acrylic or metal enlargements, photo album, mobile gallery and digital images. Contact me for a breakdown of the packages. If you choose to only purchase the session fee alone, you can purchase a la carte items during your viewing, but you can also purchase a package and the session fee will be deducted from the package price. This gives you flexibility if you don’t want to commit to a package up front.

FAQs About Senior Portrait Photography

How Do I Choose a Photographer?

Choosing the right photographer can be overwhelming these days with the amount of photographers there are to choose from. I’ve broken down for you, in eight steps, things to think about when deciding on the best photographer for you. See my article with my top ten tips for choosing a photographer.

How Do I Choose a Package?

This too can be overwhelming so I try to keep it as simple as possible and only offer three packages. These are created based on what most people like to order. I also allow clients to interchange items for products that are equivalent in value. So basically, we can create a package customized for you! Here is an article I wrote on how to choose a package.

When Should I Book My Session?

Early summer is the best time to book a senior photo session because I have more availability.  July, August and September are busier months but may be preferable as it will give you more time to prepare. You should at least try to book a later summer session in the spring or early summer so you can reserve a spot.

What Time of Day is Best for a Photo Session?

Early morning or late afternoon, a few hours before sunset, are the best times to photograph because of the softer light and prettier skies.

How Do I Prepare for a Senior Photo Session?

Preparation for this photo shoot is really important if you want to be happy with the images we create. Here is an article I wrote with tips on preparing for your senior photo session.

How Do I Find a Good Hair and Makeup Artist?

I have a few I use that I can reach out to or refer you to. You can also find your own if you look on Facebook or just Google it. Look at their reviews to find the one who you think will best fit you. You may also want to use your own hair stylist and find a separate makeup artist or see if your hair stylist also does makeup. Many of them do. I do think it’s best though if you can find someone who does both so you can get hair and makeup done all at once. Hair and makeup artists should also be booked well in advance as these people are very busy with wedding season in the summer.
